| Welcome to the website for the Southwest Region of the American Music Therapy Association. The region includes New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. OUR MISSION To provide current, helpful information and resources about music therapy in our region for music therapists, students, parents, educators, medical professionals and others interested in music therapy. HOW TO JOIN SWAMTA If you are a resident of Oklahoma, New Mexico or Texas, all that is needed is registration & membership to the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
